Shaft Sinking Structures & Equipment (Headfram, Galloway, Dumping Deck & Chute, Forms and Buckets)

The MZJ shaft sinking headframes are standardized in design and have been made by the thousands over decades. It is easy to transport, to be assembled and dissembled at site and can be used many times. There are five models in MZJ series of shaft sinking frames, see table below.

Standards and Quality Control:

¨ Structures meet GBJ213-79, GB1800~1804-79, GB4457~4460—84 and AS/NZS standards.

¨ Headframes, kibbles and sheaves all use standardized and serialized designs. Other structures are customized;

¨ All structures have to be processed strictly according to the technical specification on engineering design drawing and checked.    

 

Hydraulic cylinders are installed onto concrete form in manufacturing plant.

Kibble Quality Specifications

 

There are standard kibbles and bottom-unload kibbles for pouring concrete.

 

¨ All kibbles (buckets) are made by licensed manufacturer;

¨ Hosting bar, hoisting ears and pins: safety factor > 8. Material: ASTM A29 #1045; all heat-treated and pass NDT tests;

¨ All materials will go thru physical and chemical tests;

¨ Bucket design and its welding quality meet Q/ZB74-73 standards;

¨ Riveting quality meets GBJ205-83;

¨ Kibbles must go thru 2 times maximum load test; and be checked by micrometer, no permanent deformation should be found;

¨ Verticalness of a hanging empty kibble should be less than 10mm;

Manufacturing accuracy

 

There are many manufacturing accuracy requirements, a few listed below.

¨ The main truss 4-angle diagonal length deviation < 6mm

¨ The main corner posts length deviation < 0.001 L (L is the design length, absolute length deviation <10mm

¨ Total corner posts (from bottom to top of headframe) deflection <  10 mm

¨ Sheave deck section height deviation +- 3mm

¨ Drilled hole ovalness: for 16 – 20mm hole,  <0.5mm; for 24mm and larger holes, <1mm

¨ Hole centre location deviation vs hole distance: +-/1000 to +- 1.4/1000 (for example, if two holes designed distance is 3000, its deviation should be + - 2.0mm. etc etc
